Where contributions go
Contributions are directed toward the development of future maritime search-and-rescue and emergency-response capability. They do not fund active SAR missions or operational deployments.
Search-and-rescue equipment
Life jackets, throw ropes, rescue boards, lighting, and other essential gear for future operations.
Maritime safety equipment
Vessel-mounted safety systems, navigation aids, and on-water protective equipment.
Drone and aerial search technology
Unmanned aircraft, sensors, and imaging systems to extend future search coverage.
Communications equipment
Radios, inter-vessel links, and coordination systems for future team connectivity.
Training and readiness
Crew development, safety training, and exercise programs that prepare future responders.
